Author Steve Tongue will present the history surrounding the historic US Lifeboat Station on Thunder Bay Island. The Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center theater will host the event, with the doors opening at 5:30 pm, and the program begins at 6 pm. The Thunder Bay Island Preservation Society will be offering the book “Lanterns & Lifeboats, a History of Thunder Bay Island” for sale. The author will be signing the books purchased that evening. The event is free to the public, seating is limited.
