With spring continuing to warm things up, we’ve formulated our work list for the season. It has been reviewed and approved by SHPO for TBIPS to begin. Most of the identified projects are painting projects, so if you’re a member (or would like to become one) contact us and volunteer. If your painting skills aren’t the best there’s always grass to be cut and general cleaning in the buildings. Our success into the future revolves around the number of volunteers available to help out. It’s an awesome experience getting out to the island and witnessing the second oldest lighthouse on Lake Huron, and all the amazing plants and fossils.
